React development

React development for workflows that do not fit inside a CMS.

When WordPress or Shopify is not the right fit, we build custom React applications, dashboards, portals, internal tools, and frontend systems designed around the actual workflow.

When a CMS is not enough

React is the tool. The real work is understanding the process.

Custom applications work best when the workflow is clear: who uses the system, what data they need, what actions they take, and what systems it connects to.

We help turn manual, spreadsheet-heavy, or disconnected workflows into focused web interfaces.

Talk through your custom app

What we handle

React systems for custom business workflows.

We build web applications where off-the-shelf tools do not fit: dashboards, portals, internal tools, admin interfaces, and API-driven frontend experiences.

What we build

  • Custom React applications
  • Dashboards
  • Internal tools
  • Customer portals
  • Admin interfaces
  • API-driven frontends
  • SaaS-style interfaces
  • Data visualization interfaces
  • Headless frontend experiences
  • AI-enabled interfaces

Problems we solve

  • Manual internal workflows
  • Spreadsheet-heavy processes
  • CMS limitations
  • Disconnected systems
  • Custom user portals
  • Reporting dashboards
  • Interfaces that need APIs
  • Existing React apps that need improvement
  • Workflow bottlenecks
  • Hard-to-use admin tools

Common integrations

  • REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Supabase, Firebase, PostgreSQL
  • Stripe and payment flows
  • HubSpot and Salesforce
  • Shopify and WooCommerce APIs
  • Authentication providers
  • Analytics and event tracking
  • AI and LLM APIs

How we approach it

Start with the workflow, then build the interface.

React projects fail when the interface is designed before the process is understood. We start with the workflow and the data behind it.

Then we build an interface that helps users move through the work more clearly.

01

Map users, data, actions, permissions, and connected systems.

02

Define the interface structure, API needs, and technical constraints.

03

Build the application with clean UI, reliable data flows, and practical deployment planning.

Service FAQ

Questions before hiring a React developer.

Do you build full SaaS products?

We can help build SaaS-style web applications, portals, dashboards, and custom web interfaces.

Can React connect to my existing systems?

Yes. React applications can connect to APIs, databases, CRMs, ecommerce platforms, analytics systems, and internal tools.

Do you build dashboards?

Yes. Dashboards and internal tools are a strong fit for React.

Can you improve an existing React app?

Yes. We can review, clean up, extend, or stabilize existing React applications.

Do you help with planning before development?

Yes. We map the workflow, data, integrations, and technical requirements before the build starts.

When does a project need React instead of WordPress or Shopify?

When the core of the project is an application rather than content: dashboards, portals, internal tools, or complex filtering and search. Content sites are usually better on a CMS.

Can a React app work with our existing WordPress or Shopify site?

Yes. React can run as a part of an existing site, or as a separate app that reads data from WordPress, Shopify, or your own API.

Who hosts and maintains the application?

That is agreed during scoping. Don can set up hosting and deployment, or hand the app over to your team with documentation.

Can you take over a React project someone else started?

Yes. The first step is a review of the codebase, dependencies, and build process, then a plan for what to keep and what to fix.

Pricing

Small fixes start at $200.

Quick fixes are usually billed hourly, and clearly scoped projects can be a fixed price. Either way, you get a plain-English estimate of what is wrong, what it takes, and how long it should take before any work starts.

There is no retainer, setup fee, or long-term contract. Many clients start with a one-hour fix and keep Don on for ongoing work.

Start with the technical side

Let’s talk through what actually needs to happen.

Whether you are building something new, improving an existing system, or trying to understand what went wrong, the first step is a direct technical conversation.
