Shopify development

Shopify development for stores that need more than theme edits.

Work directly with Shopify developers who can customize your storefront, improve performance, connect apps, troubleshoot issues, and help your ecommerce system work the way it should. We are based in New Rochelle, NY, and work with stores in New York and across the US.

Why Shopify gets technical

Shopify simplifies ecommerce until the store needs custom systems around it.

Growing stores eventually run into technical decisions: apps, subscriptions, tracking, theme structure, performance, integrations, product data, and customer flows.

We help Shopify stores move past surface-level theme edits and into cleaner, more reliable ecommerce development.

How we approach it

Build the store around the business, not the app stack.

The goal is not to install more apps. The goal is to make the store easier to manage, faster to use, and more reliable for customers.

We review the current store, theme, apps, tracking, and customer flow before recommending changes.

01

Review the storefront, theme, app stack, products, checkout limits, analytics, and conversion flow.

02

Identify what should be custom, what should use an app, and what should be simplified.

03

Implement targeted improvements with clear communication from the developer doing the work.

Service FAQ

Questions before hiring a Shopify developer.

Do you work on existing Shopify stores?

Yes. We often improve, troubleshoot, and extend existing Shopify stores.

Do you require Shopify Plus?

No. We work with regular Shopify stores and respect Shopify platform limitations.

Can you help with subscriptions?

Yes. We can help set up, customize, or troubleshoot subscription workflows and related apps.

Can you improve Shopify speed?

Yes. We review theme code, app impact, scripts, images, tracking, and storefront performance.

Can you connect Shopify to other systems?

Yes. We connect Shopify with CRMs, email platforms, fulfillment tools, analytics, custom APIs, and reporting workflows.

Can you upgrade our Shopify 1.0 theme to Online Store 2.0?

Yes. Customizations are moved into 2.0 sections and JSON templates, or rebuilt on a current theme such as Dawn, and tested on an unpublished copy before anything goes live.

Will changing themes affect our orders or customer data?

No. Orders, customers, and products live in Shopify itself, not in the theme. A theme change affects how the store looks and works, so we test layouts, apps, and tracking before publishing.

Do you work on Shopify Plus?

Yes, including checkout changes, custom sections, and speed work on Shopify Plus stores.

Can you connect Shopify to our inventory system or other apps?

Yes. Inventory feeds, custom product fields, third-party apps, and custom API connections are regular Shopify work.

Pricing

Small fixes start at $200.

Quick fixes are usually billed hourly, and clearly scoped projects can be a fixed price. Either way, you get a plain-English estimate of what is wrong, what it takes, and how long it should take before any work starts.

There is no retainer, setup fee, or long-term contract. Many clients start with a one-hour fix and keep Don on for ongoing work.
