WordPress development

WordPress development without the agency layers.

Work directly with senior WordPress developers who can scope, build, fix, optimize, and maintain your site without passing every question through a sales team or project manager. We are based in New Rochelle, NY, and work with businesses in Westchester, New York City, and across the US.

Why WordPress gets messy

WordPress is flexible, but that flexibility can turn complicated fast.

Themes, plugins, builders, custom code, hosting, caching, WooCommerce, DNS, forms, tracking, and integrations all affect each other. A small change in one part of the site can create performance, checkout, layout, or tracking problems somewhere else.

DR3 helps businesses make WordPress stable, fast, maintainable, and easier to manage. We start by understanding how the site is built now, then identify what should stay, what should be improved, and what should be rebuilt.

How we approach it

Fix what matters. Rebuild only when it makes sense.

Not every WordPress project needs a full redesign. Sometimes the right answer is cleaning up plugins, improving templates, stabilizing WooCommerce, optimizing the database, rebuilding specific components, or fixing the structure around an existing site.

We look at the current site first, then scope the work based on what will create the clearest technical path.

01

Review the current build, theme, plugin stack, hosting, forms, tracking, and WooCommerce setup.

02

Identify what should stay, what should be fixed, and what needs to be rebuilt cleanly.

03

Implement targeted improvements with direct communication from the developer doing the work.

WordPress FAQ

Questions before hiring a WordPress developer.

Do you work on existing WordPress sites?

Yes. A lot of our work is improving, fixing, optimizing, or extending existing WordPress websites.

Do you use Elementor?

Yes. We work with Elementor when it makes sense, but we also build custom themes and more structured WordPress solutions.

Do you work with other WordPress page builders?

Yes. We can support, improve, troubleshoot, or rebuild sites using Divi, WPBakery, Beaver Builder, Gutenberg, ACF-based layouts, and other existing builder setups.

Can you help with WooCommerce?

Yes. We handle WooCommerce customization, checkout issues, product structures, integrations, performance, and tracking.

Can you speed up my WordPress site?

Yes. We review hosting, caching, images, plugins, database queries, theme code, scripts, and Core Web Vitals.

Can you fix a WordPress site that shows “There has been a critical error”?

Yes. That message usually means a plugin, theme, or PHP version conflict. Don finds the cause in the error logs, fixes it, and checks the rest of the site before handing it back.

Can you turn our Figma or Adobe XD design into a WordPress site?

Yes. Designs are built as a custom theme or with your page builder of choice, responsive on every screen size, and set up so your team can edit content without breaking the layout.

Will rebuilding our site hurt our Google rankings?

Not if it is done carefully. URLs are kept or redirected one to one, titles and content carry over, and the new site is checked in Search Console after launch.

Do you build custom plugins?

Yes, when an existing plugin would add more weight or risk than it solves. Custom plugins are written for the specific job and documented so another developer could maintain them.

Pricing

Small fixes start at $200.

Quick fixes are usually billed hourly, and clearly scoped projects can be a fixed price. Either way, you get a plain-English estimate of what is wrong, what it takes, and how long it should take before any work starts.

There is no retainer, setup fee, or long-term contract. Many clients start with a one-hour fix and keep Don on for ongoing work.

Start with the technical side

Have a WordPress site that needs a developer, not another sales call?
